Paramali beach is one of Cyprus’ most popular kite beaches. It is perfect in many ways : Long soft sandy beach, steady side-on shore wind almost every day in the summer, flat water, no crowds or restricted areas, only kitesurfers.
So, how come ? Well, the beach is situated on a remote part of the Episkopi SBA (British military) where builders and land developpers have been kept at bay for the past 50 years and therefore has remained un touched. Paramali beach only really works from May till October peaking in mid-summer when the south-westerly breeze is present almost every afternoon.
Paramali beach is situated 3km east from Avdimou beach and roughly half way (25mn drive) between the cities of Lemesos and Pafos. Once in Paramali village take the turn opposite the Orthodox church and follow the winding road (1km) all the way to the sea front.
