Ladies mile beach is an amazing place. It can be sailed with any wind direction, although not recommended when it is blowing offshore (west wind), unless you have a rescue boat on standby. The main sailing area consists of a wide, long sandy beach with no obstacles and shallow water. A beginners dream ? Couldn’t be further from the truth. In the winter, the on-shore easterly wind and waves make it extra hard to sail away from the beach whereas the summer’s off-shore gusty wind only desire is to send you sailing away to Africa… Nevertheless a very good intermediate to advanced kitesurfer’s spot.

To get there follow the road signs situated near the Lemesos new port and once on the dirt road follow it all the way to the end.
