The majority of popular kitesurfing and windsurfing beaches are situated halfway between the cities of Lemesos and Pafos themselves 50mn driving distance apart. By staying in either one you will never be more than 30mn drive from most kitesurfing spots. Pafos is the more quiet cultural capital of Cyprus whereas larger Lemesos and it’s harbor is one of the main buisness/shopping centers in Cyprus. Both have excellent restaurants and nightlife.
Pissouri village is also a very good option if you prefer proximity and don’t mind quiet evenings. Situated exactly half way between the two cities it is the closest to the kitesurfing beaches.
