Helios bay is more of a surfers than a kitesurfers spot. The beach is very short with rocks on either side and is only recommended for advanced kitesurfers that like waves and a little risk. Ideal wind direction is west or north/west which only really happens in the winter.
Situated 5km north of Pafos on the main road to Coral bay, Helios bay can be found right below the hotel that carries the same name. It is also known as sandy beach.
