Faros (lighthouse in Greek) in the Pervolia area is the main kitesurfing spot in the Larnaca area. There is no beach and launching and landing your kite is done in the fields along the shore but no real trouble and definetly worth it. Faros can be classified as a wave spot with a nice swell hiting it’s shallow reefs year long but also a spot accessible to most especially if they can keep upwind, because of the lack of beach.
Also called “Pervolia” you will find Faros near the lighthouse few kilometeres west of the Larnaca airport.
