Due to their isolation the spots of Argaka and Agia Marina are rarely sailed but can produce some of the best wave riding conditions on the island. In the summer, sea state is generally flat with the occasional small waves but winter brings epic wave sailing conditions among the best encountered in the med. Ideal wind directions for this spot are both north east and north west winds (side/side on) blowing from December to April and south/west the rest of the year (summer seabreeze). In the later case Agia Marina usually gets a cleaner and stronger wind.
To get there just drive east from Polis ( Argaka 3km/Agia Marina 10km) along the sea side road. There are numerous beaches from where to launch and the choice is all yours.
