Where do the kitesurfing lessons take place ?
Courses are normally conducted on Paramali beach located half way (25mn) between the main cities of Lemesos and Pafos. However adverse wind directions may sometimes lead us to change location in order to save the day.
Can I get a taxi to Paramali beach ?
Hiring a car is the best and cheapest way of getting around in Cyprus but yes, you can get a taxi to Paramali beach from just about anywhere. Taxi drivers will know how to get to Paramali village. From then on, or if you are driving there yourself, please follow the “directions” on the map below.

Will my familly be happy on Paramali beach ?
Paramali is one of the nicest beaches in Cyprus and certainly the less crowded. No shade or sunbeds so bring your own.
Is there anywhere nearby that I can get food or drinks while I am at the beach ?
No, but there is a pub and a small cafe in Paramali village (1200m) that sell snacks and cold drinks.
Do you guys take credit cards ?
Sorry, we don’t take credit cards at this time, cash only. Either Euro or other currency.
How good are your instructors ?
If competence is what you are looking for, Cyprus-Wind Kitesurfing Pro Center is the pioneer of kitesurfing in Cyprus. With 10 years of teaching experience in the field we don’t need to justify our competence anymore. We offer the safest most effecient teaching methods around.
What kind of gear do you use ?
We are equipped with the latest kites and boards from SLINGSHOT, SKYWALKER and F-ONE which are great for teaching. They are very safe with full de-power ability and also really easy to relaunch from the water. Our instructors will show you how use these kites to their fullest.
Do you have gear to sell?
Yes we stock new and used gear for sale and give all our students a great discount.
What do you do if there is no wind when I am scheduled for a lesson?
Hopefully we will be able to re-schedule for a better day during your stay here. We will do our best to accomodate you. Otherwise you will be offered a refund or an alternative activity instead (Land sailing and Surfing).
How much wind do you actually need to teach?
We like a minimum of about 10 knots for beginner lessons. Anything less and the kites don’t perform as they should and you spend more time relaunching and un-tangling lines. However, we can still go thru the basics such as kite theory, wind window, and rigging even if there is no wind. This is just about the first half hour of a beginner lesson.
I am bringing my own gear to kite, are there any rules at the beach that I need to follow?
Yes, please ask any of the local riders before rigging up. Most importantly you should always be aware of swimmers or any locals on the beach, and give them priority. Also ask about wind shifts and any dangerous ares you need to be aware of.
